CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS 2011 Academy for Division Heads February 3 - 4, 2011 Location:  Hotel Palomar 505 N. State Street Chicago, IL Save the date for the 2011 Academy for Division Heads. Schedule The Academy will begin at 9:30 am on Thursday, February 3rd and will end by 2:45 pm on Friday, February 4th. Wednesday, February 2nd - Optional Panel Discussion On Wednesday evening, February 2nd, from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm, ISACS will host an optional panel discussion: "A Panel for New Division Heads" -- All new Division Heads are invited to a spirited conversation facilitated by a panel of experienced Division Heads anxious to share experience, perspective and expertise. Panelists will include: Bonnie Benes, The Prairie School; Peg Bailey, Breck School; Jan Jacobi, MICDS; and Steve Hopkins, Hawken School. There is no additional fee for this optional discussion. If you plan to attend the panel discussion, please select it during the online registration process. Pre-registration is required. Thursday Evening, February, 3rd, 2011, Activity Details of the Thursday evening will be posted shortly. The evening activity is included in your registration fee and will include a docent-led tour of the Art Institute of Chicago and dinner at Quartino's. Location The Academy for Division Heads will take place at the brand new Hotel Palomar in Chicago. Located in the River North area of Chicago, the Hotel Palomar is located near the Chicago River and North Michigan Avenue. ISACS has secured special discounted room rates at the Hotel Palomar: $149/night plus tax (single or double occupancy) for the nights of February 2-4, 2011. An online hotel room booking code will be available soon. Parking Parking at the Hotel Palomar is $48 (valet) for overnight parking with full in-and-out privileges. There are other parking garages in the area that may offer less expensive rates. Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be received in writing to ISACS by emailing programinfo@isacs.org 10 business days prior to the event to receive a 50% refund. Cancellations received within 10 days of the event will not receive a refund. Registration may be transferred to another member from the same school.
